If you didn't know this, you know now. That cost is recovered quickly but the fact is that it cost money upfront.  Let me explain.    In most cases, it cost money upfront to collect the names. The trick is to make money on the back end sale of follow up products. We will show you many low cost and even no-cost ways to generate leads, but it cost you all the same either in cash or time and when done correctly becomes a self-funding proposition and your money is returned fairly quickly. In fact, you can generate a fairly good size ROI (Return on Investment) relatively quickly.   For instance: If it cost a company $1 to give away a free subscription to a golfing magazine. They now have a list of golf hungry prospects. If you know anything about the Golf affection-ados, Golfers buy anything that is golf related. They have money and they buy. That is the kind of prospects you want on your list.  A hungry crowd.   Feed Them Three Times A Day   Now that you have the list, Can you market products on the back end and generate a profit? Can you market to them Over and Over?  Can you rent those names to other companies through list brokers? Can you do joint venture mailings for a percentage of profits and never have to touch a product? Can you build an income in the Six Figures? Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, and of course YES!   It is important that you see the big picture, so you know what is possible. There is a saying, "Expand a persons mind, and you expand his world". You will notice that will do that alot... The reason I am always talking about the big picture, is because I want you to understand the unlimited opportunity that is in front of you. To accomplish this, It is critically important that you understand how to establish  systems that create a hands off profit funnel. You need to develop a hands off - automated system. How did you wake up and have over $1700 worth of sales while you slept. You had a system in place. The Answer to Lifestyle is Systems Think about this.... Someone does a search for  "dog training" at Google. You have already optimized and tested your landing page and your Google ads. You know that for every dollar you spend for traffic, you make $5. You have tested the ads over and over, and you have optimized your landing page, and product offering.. and you are consistently making around $5 for every $1 you spend, and Google can send you 100,000 visitors a day at Fifteen cents a click, off your Google ads.  That would cost you (100,000 x .15) $1500.00 a day in ad cost. I have a question for you?  How many of those 100,000 visitors a day, do you want? That is right, all; that you can get. You make $5 for every $1 you spend. Bring them on Brother. It's the price is right show. Bring ummmmm allllllll dowwwwwwwn! But Mark, I don't have $1,500 to pay upfront. OK. But at the Return on investment that we are making,  how long will it take you to be able to buy the maximum starting with $100 the first day. You start off with $100 the 1st day, you have $500 the second day, and the third day you have $2500. From the third day on, you have the $1500 to buy the maximum, and at the end of every day, you have $7500.  Won't this generate money automatically for you, once you have the $1500 in the account. You betcha. You just have to get there. What if it took you 5 years to get there? It won't. But would it be worth it? This can be accomplished in months if you are aggressive. So..? How does All This Happen   Let's consider that you have $1500 in your Google account on a daily basis, and your website is receiving 100,000 visitors a day.  Your job everyday is to monitor your Google ad word accounts, monitor your traffic and your conversion rates, research new products, developing more back end products, and transfer money from merchant account back to your Google account. You basically oil the machine once a day, and then when you feel like it, you play with a new prototype to increase production.  That leaves you time for a lifestyle. The person clicks on your Google ad and arrive at your website, they read this optimized and tested sales letter and they hit the Order Now button. They fill out the form, enter their credit card information, and hit submit, and the $47 goes into your bank account automatically. Their name and information is stored in our Data Base, and their e-mail and name is inserted into the auto-responder. The auto responder shoots out a Thank you for purchasing xyz product, while the user is reading the Thank you page. It might even offer them a new customer discount on another product to thank them for their purchase and they click on that and go to another sales letter.... more money in your account. The Thank you page, talks about what a smart purchase they just made, and offers them a One time Limited special offer to upgrade. 15% of the people take advantage and another $37 is plopped into your bank account. The ones that bought the upgrade, get another thank you page, offering them a huge bundled package, and guess what 10% of those people will buy this offer.  An additional $147 gets deposited in your account, and this buyers name goes into a special Auto responder series for serious buyers. At any stage, they exit without  buying, we have an exit pop up, and we ask them to fill out a survey for a bribe, because we still want to collect their information. The buyers are automatically sent the appropriate e-mail or sent to a login site, where they can obtain the download of their purchased product. I bet you that we have other offers on this page, don't we. In the background our auto responder is working around the clock, sending out educational e-mails on a daily or every other day basis, offering other products, or upgrades... over and over again until they die or unsubscribe. Each time they buy a product they get moved to another auto responder for a whole different series, as they move up in price of purchases, and also product types. All while you were sleeping, or skiing, or boating, or watching your landscapers mow your lawn while you drink a beer because they are sweating.... LOL That is a system... a system that works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week whether you are there or not... Who wants a system like that? Ok. Ok. Put your hand down. Now I want you to put a big smile on your face..... Because you will have a system like that when we are done. Mark. there are so many pieces to this Internet Marketing thing.... Where do I start? and how do I learn all this stuff? I am so glad you asked that question... Ha Ha. How do you Build a Puzzle?   That is right.... Piece by Piece...   The Education process we incorporate at All About Internet Marketing is the inversion method.  At first, the pieces are not going to fit together neatly in your head. You might feel like none of it is making any sense, but trust me, we do this on purpose. We are going to teach you a piece here and a piece there, as you sort these pieces into relative piles, and as each piece is put into place, the overall conceptual picture that we drew for you, starts to become reality, and then all of a sudden you can tell what the picture is going to be. When all the pieces are in place, you see a gorgeous colorful landscape.   The last paragraph is why we call your plan, "100K Jigsaw Plan". Not only do we provide you all the pieces and instructions to put the puzzle together in a number by number fashion, we also make sure you understand why each piece goes where it belongs.   Why do we teach like this?   So that you have the overall conceptual picture, or course.    I learned a long time ago, that when I am learning something new, the best way to learn, is to review the overall aspect of the material first, look at the conceptual points, the table of contents, and how this will fit into the bigger picture. That way, I know what is possible, and what I can expect out of my efforts and then I systematize it . How does an experienced puzzle affection-ado attack a monster puzzle? That is right a piece at a time and he uses a system. He follows steps: Looks at the picture of the finished puzzle on the cover of the box.  Embeds that picture in his mind. He visualizes that finished puzzle over and over again He looks at the cover again and again whenever the picture is fading He finds the 4 corner pieces He then builds the outside frame He sorts the pieces by colors or images that relate to the picture on the box He has trouble at first as none of the pieces seem to fit He keeps looking at pieces, and reviewing them He test them to see if they fit here or there He compares the colors, the images, the connections All of a sudden the picture starts taking shape The emptiness starts to disappear The picture comes live All of a sudden it all makes sense and he can see the Panoramic Landscape blossom in all its glory and success shows it's head.   That is the Purpose of this Section   The Purpose of this section is to trigger your imagination, to make you visualize the bigger picture of what you can accomplish using the basic techniques we will teach you. Many of you have already been educated in the importance of capture pages, and building a list. That knowledge and training provides a solid foundation for you to start  adding rooms.  If you do not have a grasp on the importance of building your list and generating capture pages, you will learn that shortly.   I know many of you are asking yourself the following questions.   I have a capture page, and I am generating leads. So what?   What good are those leads, if they don't want to buy what I am marketing?   You are right.. those are good questions...   I used to just keep generating leads and more leads, and not utilizing them effectively. Many of you are doing that now. Generating leads looking for that sale. Generating more leads, looking for more sales, and basically throwing them away if they don't buy what were selling.   I made the same mistakes starting out.   In 1999,  I was a bulk e-mailer before spam became a dirty word, I made in excess of $40,000 a month generating leads for insurance companies, phone companies, health agencies, etc. and I was a small player.   Do you knew what I did with those leads after I sold them to my clients?   Nothing.   D>U>M>B   D>U>M>B   I did not have  a system established. I was just blasting more and more e-mails, generating more traffic and making a sale and them moving on to more traffic.   I generated thousands upon thousands of sales.   Do you think those buyers, bought other related products?  Cha-Ching....   I was so stupid back then. I threw away a fortune through ignorance. Fortunately, this will not happen to you.   If I had collected that list and build a relationship with that list, I would have generated a steady flow of income to those same people over the years and money would still be coming in. Instead, I treated them as one hit wonders.... and starting over and over.   So Stop it.......   Let's Take A Look At a Simple Sales System   Typically the process goes something like this: Identify markets with a profitable back end marketing opportunity. Set up a lead generation site that captures the lead. After capturing the lead information, make a direct offer to the lead to fund your lead generation process. Put the leads you gather into a follow up marketing system; make them multiple offers, create products for them, and nurture your list for maximum profitability. Find partners and companies with products suitable for your list, and rent them the leads. Use the power of your list to make true Joint Venture deals with other companies. When your list is big enough (and high enough quality), engage a list broker to manage it for you - now you have an ongoing stream of income from list mailings, sales, and rentals   Here is a diagrammed example of a sales funnel: Our laser focused goal is to build a list (a huge list) of potential suspects, and then process and filter those leads through a series of qualifying steps and letting the crème (prospects) rise to the top.     As we keep adding suspects to the funnel, qualifying those that rise to the top, a certain amount of them buy, and then they get put into another bucket where the existing customer marketing process churns them until they rise to the top again and they are ready to make another purchase.   This process continues over and over again.    Suspects stay in the marketing system until they ask to be removed.   The plan to set this up and to drive traffic to feed it… The basics of these systems are being taught at the basic level of education, and you learn all the advanced techniques, along with How to Videos and step by step guides, at the masters level.   Building A List Happens through Direct Response Marketing   Building the List: All advertising and marketing from now on should be direct response in nature and have a call to action (call now, request report now, visit website now) … that is asking the client to come to our website or to call for a report or something so that clients information can be entered into a respective funnel.    BUILD A LIST…..    Minimal information such as first and last name, phone, and e-mail from every phone call should be collected for every contact.    BUILD A LIST. Always Be Building the list. Then....   Qualify, Qualify, Qualify   Before I get started on this section, did I mention that our priority is to BUILD A LIST?   Once a suspect is in the system, they will be automatically/semi-automatically contacted on a regular basis by e-mail, direct mail, or phone.   During the qualifying process, they will be given an opportunity to respond to a qualifying offer requiring a direct response, which will move them to the next step.     Those suspects and prospects  will continue to receive: Monthly newsletter Press Releases Articles written about their subjects of interest Any other valid reason to keep them informed and in touch Add suspects to funnel, Marketing system continually contacts and qualifies, Suspect buys , Repeat…   Methods of Generating Suspects and Building a list   Though we will utilize traditional marketing channels such as Sphere of Influence, referrals, networks, trade shows, traditional print advertising, these methods will drive traffic to website. Bottom-line all leads will be entered through the website into the marketing system.   Our concentration will be Web based Marketing   Why Web Based Marketing: The world wide web has radically changed the way successful business’s advertise and generate new customers.  Like it’s predecessors (Radio & TV), this amazing technology encompassed by the term of Internet, has brought a massive paradigm shift in how business is and will be conducted in the future.    If you do not get on that wave….. then you will be left behind.   The Internet allows information to be dispersed worldwide in the blink of an eye. By utilizing the Internet, we have access to  unlimited information, instantaneous communication, and a global expansion of your marketing footprint, all while enjoying a substantial reduction of advertising costs and thus, lead generation cost.   The key to increased business is, has, and always will be, advertising.   While standard “Brick and Mortar” companies have always relied on advertising for  business growth, most web based companies have not.    Your normal web designer goes to great lengths to build beautiful website with animation and wonderful graphics, but they miss the boat.   They put very little effort into the advertising and marketing system that drives traffic to the site and converts suspects to customers over time. Any business that approaches business in this manner is guaranteed to fail.  You will not be one of those companies.   If you think that targeting an Internet-based audience is a more efficient and cost effective method of advertising and driving traffic to a website, you would be totally correct within limits.    Most methods of reaching the Internet marketplace will be cheaper than standard advertising methods, but you must still wade through the myriad of methods to develop the most cost effective mix of techniques so that you get the biggest bang for your buck.   Besides the substantial reduced cost of marketing, and the broadening of your market area, I think the biggest advantage of marketing on the Internet is the ability to test your marketing message real time and changes can be made to that message in seconds, vs. standard print lead times of weeks or months, allowing you to sharpen your message in record times… thus reducing overall costs.   MyEx-Partner Taught You Automatic Posting to Craigslist    During our initial startup, my ex-partner taught you he benefits of utilizing Craigslist as a source of quick lead generation by using automated posting programs.   I soon discovered and I am sure that you have too by this time, that posting to craigslist is a hit or miss proposition.    To be able to post to Craigslist and have your ads stick is a full time job.  The reason it is a constant battle, is because posting in this manner is a violation of craigslist terms of service. It is considered Spam. Not only are you fighting Craig list Management, the users are flagging your posts as spam more and more often.  This form of marketing is a Black Hat technique   It is and will be a constant battle. They change their spider, then you have to change your posting methods. You are violating their laws and thus it is always going to be a battle, and your methods will always have to change with them. Personally, I feel you waste time trying to beat a system and doing things underhanded when your time would be best spent, utilizing techniques that generate traffic that are supported.   I have always been against marketing in this method. It can work and I am not telling you not to do it. I am recommending you only do it, until you learn accepted methods that are far more effective in the long term.  When you learn the traditional methods of marketing on the Internet, your leads will flow long term. It does take longer upfront, but in the long run. You do the work once, and that work can benefit you for years. With Craigs List, you must post daily and even if you get the ads to stick, they get buried at the bottom of the list within hours, and disappear naturally within days. Then you start again the next day.   I am not telling you not to use Craygo and not to market to Craigslist, we teach it as a method. My point is that it should not be your main focus. It should be a minor tool in your toolbox. Use it until you learn the more traditional methods.   So lets look at a couple of these methods of driving traffic:   Banners: it is typically agreed that standard banners are not a cost effective way to bring visitors to a website. Furthermore, it generally is accepted that banners are not considered cost effective because in today’s marketplace potential customers see banners as just a nuisance and they do not target your marketplace.   Mass E-Mailing: Though effective at one time, today it is looked down upon by the marketplace.  They may reach a wide audience, and you will generate interest, but most of that audience will recoil in horror and yell "Spam!" leaving a bad image.   Targeted Mass E-Mailing: Acquiring a list of targeted opt-in leads and e-mailing them a targeted direct response mail piece where they opt in to your personal list is still a very effective method when: ·         Purchasing lists based on desired demographics ·         Joint Venture Marketing to targeted lists   Blogging – Can generate traffic/leads and is a major contributor to search engine placement of your main site because it is a vehicle to add new content to your site on a consistent basis. A Blog can be a one way or two way communication vehicle. It can be monetized or non-monetized. Your Blog articles can be syndicated with RSS feeds also adding to relevant links back to your main site.   Articles:   Writing relevant and meaningful keyword embedded articles with links to your site as your byline can be a major force in search engine positioning. As you add these articles to your article directories and Blogs, you add relevant new content to the site. If you syndicate the articles by submitting to the article directories, other webmaster pick up the articles and put them on their sites for fresh content… and of course the byline leads back to your site which increases relevant links count. This not only can generate traffic/leads, but can be a major contributor to SE placement.   Press Releases – Consistently, submitted Press Releases to the services… again adds relevant links back to the site, increasing link counts and generating traffic/leads.   Reciprocal Linking – Trading links with other relevant websites by joining sites such as Link Metro and Link Tracking to increase relevant links which increases your SE position and generate traffic/leads.   Video Traffic/Bogging – Creating an informational and/or funny videos leading back to the site, can be a phenomenal way to increase search engine ranking, generate traffic/leads, and increase reciprocal links, as people post links to the videos, and e-mail them to friends and family.   Viral Marketing – publishing an e-book, a video, or information product with links to the site can increase traffic/leads, increase relevant links as the product is posted and e-mailed to friends and family. These viral marketing tools can allow the users to co-brand the product encouraging them to pass it on and give it away to others….   Affiliate Marketing – Promoting an affiliate program can acquire 100’s and 1,000’s of workers out there promoting our products. Not only does it generate leads/traffic, referrals, and sales for a percentage only when someone buys. This can substantially increase relevant links to the site, which increases link count for search engine placement.   Pay-Per-Click – Is where you pay every time you someone clicks through to the site. This is a system where you bid on a keyword for SE placement. The top position is calculated by the bid price, the relevance of your ad and site, and the click history of your click Thurs for that keyword. The more effective your ad is, the relevance to the keyword, and quality of text and material the cheaper your pay per click cost is for top position.  This method obviously causes traffic/lead generation.   Natural/Organic Search Engine: This method is the most cost-effective advertising method that exists because it produces clients that are looking for you. A search engine user is a highly receptive and targeted audience because you are not trying to sell them on something they don’t already want. They have come looking for you and they already want what you specifically have to offer.   Furthermore, the great majority of search engine listings are relatively free, once the initial setup is completed and the cost of monthly monitoring and tweaking.      Search engines give the user a huge library of knowledge at their fingertips. Like any library of knowledge, the information has to be cataloged  and organized to be used effectively. And what better way to make sure you are found,  then to have an influence on what they find?     I have personally seen websites where traffic has increased twenty-fold  as a result of high search engine positioning. It is the most effective method,  but there is a catch. It does you no good, to be listed beyond page two. It is mandatory to be listed near the top of your category to collect all the traffic a search engine can deliver.     The good news is that first page positioning can be obtained with a little bit of elbow grease and knowledge.  The biggest problem to natural search engine positioning is it takes time and a combined effort utilizing numerous of the methods discussed above.    To achieve high position it takes a combination of: 1.      Keyword optimized quality content on the website, 2.       Descriptive and focused meta-keywords. 3.      Consistent additional quality content,  4.      Quantity & Quality of links from relevant sites, articles, forums, Blogs etc.    To accomplish high search engine rankings, you must understand how the spiders work so that you can structure your website, your capture page, and your marketing efforts with the Search Engine requirements in mind.
